02.3 - Master case
A complete chain, from order to archived invoice.
Our shop cremedebronzage.com runs on an obsolete SaaS platform that no longer evolves. When we wanted to connect it to SendCloud, the aggregator that handles our shipments, nothing was planned for it. So we built it.
Today, an order crosses the whole chain without a single manual intervention: it goes out for shipping, the status updates by itself when the courier scans it, the invoice is generated, converted, sent to the customer, and archived in their personal space where they find ten years of history, with advanced search and magic-link login — no umpteenth password to remember.
The principle applies to any business: as soon as a tool exposes an API, we can link it to the others. And when an API exists, almost anything becomes possible.
